BAFTA 2010

I’m looking forward to tonight’s BAFTA in BBC.

Here are my predictions for the main categories:

BEST PICTURE: The Hurt Locker

BEST DIRECTOR: Kathryn Bigelow

BEST BRITISH FILM: An Education

BEST BRITISH DEBUT: Sam Taylor-Wood (Nowhere Boy)

BEST ACTOR: Jeff Bridges

BEST ACTRESS: Carey Mulligan (or Meryl Streep if Mulligan wins for best rising star)

BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR: Christoph Waltz

BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Mo’Nique

BEST FOREIGN FILM: The White Ribbon

BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY: Inglorious Basterds

BEST ADAPTED SCREENPLAY: In the Loop

BEST RISING STAR: Carey Mulligan (Kirsten Stewart if Mulligan wins best actress; I know there’s Tahar Rahim, but the public votes this one).

Enjoy,

A.

Have you seen Sandra Bullock collect her award for worst actress, she is the best!
